DFW Truck Farm takes the education to schools...
A sample of a DFW Truck Farm Day:
•We bundle up the truck, using sideboards
•Travel to our destination (slowly)
•Use the lesson plan we provided the teacher with
•If there is a school garden, we take a few plants/seeds to work in their garden as well
•Create awareness and excitement about gardening
Schools:
When we visit schools we bring a lesson plan that is typically hands-on and allow the kids to look, touch, and sniff the growing vegetables and herbs on the DFW Truck Farm.
